The story.......
We had just spent 3 days in Prague enjoying Pilsner Urquell.
As we sat down in Na Louzi the waiter asked what we would like to drink
I requested a Pilsner Urquell and with a stern look, he strongly told me
We don't serve that here.
I realized I had created some sort of faux pas
and looked to John for help, he looked as baffled as me.
The waiter then said we only serve OUR beer ~ Eggenberg!
Which I quickly ordered, while offering my apologies for not knowing otherwise!
The beer, the food was a perfect pairing
and only added to the magic of Cesky Krumlov
