                       Rick Steves Books

I wanted to let you know that Rick Steves' approach to publishing his travel books has changed

Most of us have heard throughout the years, Rick Steves state that his guidebooks are different than his competitors because he updates them each and every year! Of course, we have that statement in the back of our minds each time we have purchased his guidebook.

That is no longer be the case for every guidebook!

MANY will be updated bi-annually.
This may or may not be important to you, but if you are purchasing a 2010 guidebook
don't you want to at least be aware that the update was done in late 2008?

The Customer Service Department in his office on March 6th, 2009 was kind enough to give me the list of changes and I wanted to pass these along to you.

I have broken this up into several sections for your convenience, including what books will be updated annually.
